Our Story
Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) is a 501(c)3, nonprofit volunteer organization located in San Antonio, TX, established in 1993 by three breast cancer survivors determined to take personal action in the fight against the disease.
Education & Outreach
Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation, along with other agencies in the community, collaborate to bring outreach programs to the community: educational seminars, health fairs and free health screenings for the uninsured and underinsured.

Our Story

ABCF Supporters

Throughout the year, ABCF relies on our members and partners to support our efforts to find a cure and achieve our mission – to end breast cancer by assisting patients, informing health professionals and policymakers, and expanding knowledge through education and community outreach. 2017 Patient Advocate Program Partners

ABCF has invited representatives from breast cancer patient advocacy organizations from around the world to apply for scholarships (provided they meet specific criteria) in order to attend the early December SABCS conference. To date there have been over 700 applicants, and ABCF has provided scholarships to 514 patient advocates.
