Patient Assistance

Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) has HELPLINE volunteers who can assist callers in navigating the agencies that provide free or low-cost breast and cervical screening and diagnostic services, funded by various grants, if you are eligible. If you have been diagnosed with breast or cervical cancer and cannot afford to pay for treatment, you will be directed to a Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening (BCCS) provider at University Health System (UHS), CentroMed or CommuniCare to determine your eligibility for access to Medicaid for Breast & Cervical Cancer (MBCC) treatment funding. To contact ABCF, call the HELPLINE at 210-692-9535.
