A list of San Antonio nonprofit area breast cancer resources for the uninsured and underinsured follows. In addition, you may be eligible for Social Security disability benefits with breast cancer. As this process can be very confusing, here is an article that explains the benefits and how to determine if you are eligible.
The ABCF Resource Guide was developed to provide a breast cancer reference tool for women and men diagnosed with breast cancer as well as for health care professionals.

WINGS (Women Involved in Nurturing, Giving, Sharing)

Support Groups
Breast Friends Forever: Meets 4th Monday of each month from 10:30 to11:30 AM at Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC), 7979 Wurzbach Road, 5th Floor, Zeller Building Breast Clinic. Keep Abreast: Meets 1st Monday of each month (2nd Monday when lst is a holiday) at Cancer Therapy and Research Center (CTRC) Grossman Library, 7979 Wurzbach Road, lst Floor, at 6 PM for patients with metastatic breast cancer or recurrence, at 7 PM for patients with early-stage breast cancer.
